This was the English companion to my ongoing French newsletter Une Page de Proust, which I’ve been writing since 2020.
It offered carefully edited excerpts from In Search of Lost Time, introduced with a short commentary — a simple and quiet way to let Proust speak for himself.
But over time, I felt something shift.
Translating my French work into English wasn’t enough. I wanted to connect with English-speaking readers differently — not just by offering beautiful passages, but by helping them read Proust directly, with more confidence and clarity.
Since then, I’ve been working on something new — still rooted in Proust, but with a different approach: gentler, more supportive, perhaps even a little pedagogical.
